There was some excitement a little way up the road from Chattanooga's Southside this past Friday, as the Highland Park Commons, complete with three futsol (mini soccer) fields, celebrated it's grand opening.
The project, achieved through the cooperation of the Maclellan Foundation, the St. Andrews Center, Tennessee Temple University, and the Lyndhurst Foundation, hopes to "create an environment for families and the community to come together for recreation, fellowship and community building," according to Charlie Phillips of the Maclellan Foundation.
