Chattanooga Eats Local!

Yesterday, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported on a local restaurateur Matt Lewis (co-owner of Hair of the Dog, the Terminal Brewhouse, the Honest Pint and Mean Mug Coffeehouse), and mentioned this interesting fact:
In addition to those four eateries, downtown Chattanooga has 58 locally owned restaurants competing with 23 chains. Kim White, head of downtown development group River City Co., said that fact helps attract people to the area.
Those are some pretty impressive numbers, and just one reason Chattanooga is developing a reputation as a destination city. You can spend days eating out in Chattanooga without repeats and without visiting a chain restaurant. And a number of those eateries can also boast that they serve locally sourced food.

If you're looking for a place to eat downtown, this guide can get you started! Happy dining!
