Fall Planting Time

While we enjoy a bit more warm weather, many of us are thinking about fall planting.

The idea time for getting your fall crops into the ground is about six weeks before the first hard frost. But when that falls is a moving target and some would argue that your hardiness zone might possibly be changing.

The Chattanooga area currently falls into the 7a hardiness zone (enter your zip code here to find your zone if you're in a different area), which currently supports of wide variety of plants. But according to this animation, zone 8 might be headed our way!
